This page provides information regarding fibre channel switch smart components that are maintained outside the Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP) and are supported by and can be used with HP Smart Update Manager (HP SUM) version 5.3.0 or later. This list will aid in the selection of the proper switch firmware downloads.Please see the Enhancement tab for the detailed list of switch firmware. Upgrade Requirement:
Optional - Users should update to this version if their system is affected by one of the documented fixes or if there is a desire to utilize any of the enhanced functionality provided by this version. HP Smart Update Manager (HP SUM) 5.3.0, which is included in HP Service Pack for ProLiant 2012.10.0, and later releases support Fibre Channel (FC) Switch firmware upgrades.
The following tables describe FC Switch Firmware Smart Components that are available for download to your HP SUM repository for use in updating FC B-Series and H-Series switches. The table includes the FC Switch Model Name, Version of update firmware, Date that the firmware was released, and a link to the Linux and Windows Smart Components download web page for each version.
